About YTL Power

YTL Power International operates as an electricity utility that generates and transmits power across Southeast Asia through subsidiaries running gas-fired combined-cycle, steam, and cogeneration plants. Most of its generation takes place in Singapore, where electricity sales make up the bulk of its income. The group also owns a water and sewerage business in the United Kingdom, which contributes substantial revenue, and holds a stake in YTL Communications, a Malaysian broadband and telecom provider.

How to qualify for the YTL Power dividend

  • Buy YTLPOWR shares no later than Wednesday, 30 September 2026, the trading day before the ex-date.
  • Shares bought on or after the ex-date (1 Oct 2026) do not carry this dividend.
  • You can sell on or after the ex-date and still receive it — what matters is holding the shares into the entitlement date (2 Oct 2026).
  • No application is needed. The dividend is credited to the bank account linked to your CDS account on 23 Oct 2026.
  • On the ex-date the share price usually adjusts down by roughly the dividend amount.
