About Gas Malaysia

Gas Malaysia Berhad distributes and sells natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas through the natural gas distribution network in Peninsular Malaysia. Natural gas sales make up the bulk of its income, supplemented by LPG sales, pipeline construction, and fees for use of its pipelines. Although it supplies industrial and commercial clients, most of its customers are households.

How to qualify for the Gas Malaysia dividend

  • Buy GASMSIA shares no later than Wednesday, 21 October 2026, the trading day before the ex-date.
  • Shares bought on or after the ex-date (22 Oct 2026) do not carry this dividend.
  • You can sell on or after the ex-date and still receive it — what matters is holding the shares into the entitlement date (23 Oct 2026).
  • No application is needed. The dividend is credited to the bank account linked to your CDS account on 6 Nov 2026.
  • On the ex-date the share price usually adjusts down by roughly the dividend amount.
